Nike CJ3 Trainer – First Look
Calvin Johnson is one of the few players in the NFL who has his own signature shoe- in the form of a trainer. His first two models experienced various amounts of success and pushed the boundaries as far as style was concerned. His latest shoes look downright ugly…lets hope it’s the ugly that grows on you.
The first colorway below is just appalling in my personal opinion. The colorway is way to busy and the shoe just doesn’t flow. As far as these go as performance shoes they are a lower cut than both previous models allowing for more agile movements and quicker cuts. For a lower top shoe it appears to have pretty good lock down, but then again that’s just based off the picture. The outsole is Nike’s new hexagon tooling and that has seemed to be either a hit or miss depending on the person. The second colorway below I can get behind and would be interested to see how they look on feet.
As of now there is no official release date but you can bet money these will drop before the upcoming 2015-2016 NFL season. Let us know your thoughts in the comments and stay in the loop with Kicksonary.com your sneaker dictionary!
